Even for the same product, if the test requirements are different, the test fixtures made will be different. No matter whether it is ICT test fixture, BGA test fixture, FCT test fixture, FPC test fixture, manual test fixture, or pneumatic test fixture, all customers need to provide: GERBER file, empty board, solid board. The GERBER file is mainly used for the structural design of the test fixture. The structural design engineer will design the fixture frame, carrier plate, platen, and needle plate according to the GERBER file to determine which type of probe to use based on the spacing of the test points. The empty board is mainly used to check whether the test pin point is aligned. The standard test pin point should be aligned with the center of the test point. If the pin point is biased, misjudgment may occur, which affects work efficiency and product quality. The solid board is mainly used to avoid the position. It is used to make the carrier board. When the pressure board is used, it is better to avoid the components and avoid crushing the adjacent components during the test. It is not difficult to make test fixtures, but to do well, to make high quality, and to make no mistakes, we must do every step carefully, not sloppy, not perfunctory, and only do high-quality test fixtures.
